The District of Kitimat recently released an article that detailed how their work on upgrading their water treatment processes is going to this point.
Ever since breaking ground back in March, the work has reportedly been going at a great pace as the main level concrete slab was poured last week and the installation of their underground utilities will begin this month.
One of the main goals of this work is not only to update their water treatment processes, but to also reduce the number of water advisories that they typically get hit with due to elevated turbidity levels.
