The end of last week saw the champions crowned at the 50th edition of the Junior All-Native Basketball Tournament after over 300 games, featuring 129 teams, were played at the Langley Events Centre.
As for who won the final in each division, Prince Rupert’s Ts’ap team overcame the VanCity Warriors 77-71 in the U17 Boys Final, At’maakw squeezed by Tla-o-qui-aht West Coast 60-58 in the U17 Girls Division, the U13 Boys Gold final saw the Sons of Gingolx defeat the G̱aw Tlagée Jr. Raiders 48-43 in another close affair, the Skidegate Saints won in the U13 Boys Silver final, the Snuneymuxw Islanders dominated the U13 Girls Gold final against the Mini Mystics 69-22 and the Maaqtusiis Suns from Ahousaht finished on top of the U13 Girls Silver Division.
