In shocking news, the northwest will be down one music show this summer, as it was announced this morning that the Kispiox Valley Music Festival has been cancelled for this summer.
Located just 15 minutes north of Hazelton, the festival, which has been around since 1995, will not have any shows this summer as the board has stated that they would like take a step back and reassess their situation going forward. The board expects this situation to be a one-off however, as they expect to be back next year for the “best experience possible in the years ahead.”
The festival is a non for profit society that usually takes place on the last full weekend of July, and is solely run by volunteers.
