Kitimat CT Scanner open for use in April

(Kitimat General Hospital)

The brand new CT Scanner in the Kitimat General Hospital will be available for patient use for the first time on April 9th of this year.

Bringing this scanner to life cost $4.7 Million and it was made possible thanks to the contributions of the District of Kitimat, LNG Canada, the Max Lange Foundation and many more.

The addition of the scanner and a newly renovated department will allow for the hospital to deliver a range of clinical and diagnostic services much closer to home for local residents.
