The Kitimat RCMP recently put out a report detailing what the detachment encountered between October 9th and 15th.
One part of the report mentioned how officers were out checking to see if drivers travelling along highway 37 near the Kitamaat Village Road had installed their Winter tires yet.
The report said that about 65 vehicles were checked and most of them either had the proper tires or were set to get them installed within the week.
Any vehicles who attempt to travel on the highway without winter tires might be prevented from partaking in any highway travel and receive a fine of up to $121.
