Anyone who planned on visiting the Riverlodge Recreation Centre in Kitimat within the next few days might have to make a change in their plans.
Starting yesterday and lasting until Tuesday of next week, the Centre will be closed in order to allow for the setup and eventual takedown of the materials that are being used for LNG Canada’s community celebration this Saturday.
The Centre will also be closed next Wednesday, August 20th as well for staff training before returning to their normal hours on August 21st.
That celebration will also result in several roads such Dike Road and Peace Street being closed to traffic while Columbia Avenue and Konigus Street are closed to non-local traffic.
