K’uul Power, Collaborating Nations, BC & BC Hyrdo Sign North Coast Transmission Line Deal

A group of first nations have signed on to a collaborating deal with K’uul Power, BC hydro and the Province on the North Coast Transmission Line.

The agreement terms enable a partnership between BC Hydro and the North Coast Transmission Line nations in building and owning the line.

The nations involved include Lax kw’alaams, Metlakatla, Witset, Ts’il Kaz Koh, Wet’su’weten, and Nee Tahi Buhn Band.

Energy minister Adrian Dix called it a groundbreaking agreement between the groups.
