Local Barbershop Owner creates new offer to help others

Yesterday morning, Brandon Larkin, the owner of the Nuk Barbershop in Terrace, announced he’d be making a new pay-what-you-can offer exclusive to Tuesdays, and that it would begin the same day;

“There will be kind of a range of anything 15, 20 dollars and that way, there’s that base. But even if someone is very hard at it, I would be like whatever you want to do.”

Larkin then explained the main reason he is putting in the effort to assist his customers with this money saving offer.

“I can’t help it. I see a lot of other people raising prices where I just want to do my own thing and be different. I want to try and be humble with people and give back.”

While Larkin’s main intention has been to try easing the pressure on local residents’ wallets, he’s also pondered giving back to the community in others ways, such as through charitable donations.

“I think I would do that for NARA, Kitimat Humane Society’s a good one. Search and Rescue is another big one that I fundamentally go for.”

Larkin last said that he hopes this offer can help people put themselves in the shoes of others and remind them to give back whenever they can.
