Fraser Lake Police Officers are investigating after a structure fire destroyed the Fraser Lake Inn and another nearby business with a man suspected to have died in the blaze as well.
When the Fraser Lake RCMP responded to the fire on Saturday, they learned that a person had gone back into the Inn and hadn’t come back.
Police tried to search for the person, but they were pushed back by heavy smoke and while the local Fire Department put out the fire, the Inn and another nearby business and most likely the missing man weren’t able to be saved.
The fire’s cause is currently unknown but Police believe it wasn’t criminal.
