Today saw McHappy Day being held by McDonalds, a day in which the fast food juggernaut will be donating a portion of their food and beverage sales to local children’s charities, like their affiliate, Ronald McDonald House.
McHappy Day has managed to raise over $100 Million in it’s now 3 decade long existence that has supported many children and families in local communities throughout Canada.
And at the McDonald’s location in Terrace, there certainly seemed to be no lack of people making their way to the restaurant.
And anyone worrying about being to late to contribute in any way to this day of fundraising, there is still more than enough time to make a purchase as it lasts up until midnight in Terrace but making a donation afterwards is possible as well, it’ll just have to be done at a McDonald’s location or be given straight to the Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver.
Donations can be 2, 5 or 10 dollars and socks are being sold as well in this charitable event.
