The New Hazelton RCMP have posted a notification informing the public that they are looking for help to solve an assault case.
Back on December 16th of last year, an assault occurred just west of Gitsegukla and a dark minivan with a man and woman in it later stopped to check on a brown Toyota Corolla that had the assault victim and suspect inside of it.
The victim then reportedly spoke to the witnesses and the suspect got into a verbal altercation with the witnesses before the suspect drove the victim home as the witnesses followed to make sure nothing else happened.
Those witnesses are not known by the police and they are being asked to come forward.
