Northern Health also posted their own statement on the Tumbler Ridge tragedy that came with some potentially helpful resources.
They led off their statement by saying their hearts were with the community following Tuesday’s tragic events.
They then listed off ways that they were going to be helping people struggling with grief by mentioning that drop-in appointments with mental health professionals are available at the Tumbler Ridge Health Centre.
Several phone lines were also listed like BC’s Mental Health Line at 310-6789, the Bereavement and Grief Support Line at 1-877-779-2223 and the Northern Health virtual and community mental health services at 1-844-645-7811.
