The BC Wildfire Service confirmed that this coming Saturday will see a long standing fire prohibition will finally be taken out of effect.
The Category 3 Fire ban that had been in place in the Northwest Fire Centre will be removed at noon tomorrow.
This means that there will be no active fire prohibitions in place in the Northwest Fire Centre once it’s lifted.
Although, anyone who wishes to light a Category 3 fire must obtain a burn registration number ahead of time.
