Several Northwestern BC Communities have also released their own statement about the tragedy that occurred in Tumbler Ridge.

Prince Rupert, Kitimat and Smithers all extended their condolences to the victims and their families while letting the community know that they are standing with them.

Those statements were also used to promote multiple different means of getting help for those who might be mentally struggling with the tragedy.

The City of Prince Rupert offered up the phone number of their victim services staff, the web address of Foundry Terrace and a large list of Northern Health resources for those who might need them.

All of which can be found on the statement on their website.
