The City of Prince Rupert announced that there would be a full road closure most likely lasting all of today on 3rd Avenue West.
The closure covers the area between 1st and 2nd Street and is being done in order to complete unplanned repairs to some water infrastructure in the area.
Residents are being asked to follow all detour signage and traffic controls with the closure expecting to be lifted by the end of the day.
