The City of Prince Rupert announced that a section of a local sidewalk was recently closed down to allow for some planned repair work.
A part of the sidewalk on the 800 block of 1st Ave West was shut down yesterday, although it was said to not affect the airport ferry bus pick up/drop off area located next door.
Repairs should be finished sometime within the next couple of weeks.
