The City of Prince Rupert recently highlighted the main items that they discussed at their most recent City Council Meeting from earlier in the week.
A major part of the meeting saw Atmospheric Perspectives and Connect Landscape Architecture give council a presentation on the upcoming Japanese Canadian Legacies memorial and Mariners Memorial Wall replacement project.
Construction on that particular project is expected to go ahead sometime within the next few or so months.
Prince Rupert Council also gave both first and second reading to a proposed new update on the Fire Control and Protection Bylaw that is numbered 3633.
The City’s staff are currently said to be scheduling engagement with the public in the near future so that they can learn what the locals think of the proposed change.
