The City of Prince Rupert is offering a way for people to learn how to prepare themselves properly for an emergency.
On November 7th, from 11 AM until 2 PM, the Prince Rupert Lions Club and Prince Rupert Emergency Support Services will be at the Prince Rupert Recreation Complex Auditorium for Emergency Preparedness Day.
The event will show residents how to be ready for emergencies, respond safely during a crisis and support others when unexpected events occur.
Activities at the event will include fire safety, emergency kit and ‘grab-and-go’ bag demonstrations and first aid and basic emergency response information.
