The City of Prince Rupert have provided an update on how their most notable and impactful ongoing projects were progressing in recent times.
At the top of the list was the BIG Project and it has construction currently ongoing at 11th Avenue East, where some paving has been completed and the water line is being replaced, and 6th Avenue West, as the section of the street between McBride and Thompson Street has been closed.
Other parts of the report mention the Park Avenue wetland wastewater treatment system having started construction and the property purchase of a new Public Works building likely happening in 2027.
