The project, though focused on a small portion of the hospital, is being celebrated as a vital upgrade to improve patient care, accessibility, and response efficiency.

The launch event drew several notable figures, including provincial government officials, city council members, and healthcare leaders. Minister of Finance Brenda Bailey and the local MLA were among those in attendance, highlighting the province’s continued investment in regional healthcare infrastructure.
