The Prince Rupert Port Authority is honouring 5 companies who participated in the Green Wave program in 2025.
The Green Wave Program is designed to reward shipping companies for implementing emission-reduction measures or other sustainable technologies.
2025’s Green Wave award winners are BC Ferries, Cosco, the Mediterranean Shipping Company, Maersk and Navigator Gas LLC.
The PRPA also recognized 11 ships that utilized underwater noise mitigation technology such as Boreal Voyager, Hls Diamond, Kian and Maran Argonaut.
