The Prince Rupert Port Authority recently announced that they have named an Interim President to fill the position left vacant by their retiring President and CEO Shaun Stevenson.
Kurt Slocombe was appointed to the position by the PRPA’s Board of Directors and he will officially take the position on January 1st.
Slocombe has been with the organization since 2019, when he was named as Vice President of Operations, Planning and Infrastructure.
He is also said to have an extensive background in gateway operations.
Although the Port Authority’s statement did not say anything about who might fill the CEO position.
