The Prince Rupert Port Authority has once again made a major donation with the aim of helping upgrade the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.
And this time, the PRPA is sending $125,000 through their Community Investment Fund to help improve the Hospital’s Maternity Ward.
Some of the improvements that the funding expects to allow for includes a new security door, two isolette incubators, a fetal heart monitor and a space where parents can be more comfortable while attending pre-and post-natal assessments.
This donation is part of the near $1.3 Million that the PRPA has put towards local healthcare projects since 2010.
