Rio Tinto recently announced that they’d be partnering up with RevoCast Aluminum Billets Ltd. as part of a long term agreement.
This agreement will see the two parties expand the supply of low-carbon aluminium billet to extrusion customers across all of North America, where Rio Tinto markets the billet that comes from RevoCast’s new casting facility in Langley.
The agreement will also see Rio Tinto combine their low-carbon primary aluminium with RevoCast’s recycled aluminium, with the intention being to give manufacturers access to high quality and low carbon billet that is near their own operations.
