As is usually the case, the Riverboat Days Celebrations in the City of Terrace really kicked into gear once it’s parade took place.
It happened this past Saturday morning, albeit with some slight differences from it’s usual route.
The ongoing construction at Lazelle Avenue was the main reason for the change, which resulted in the parade starting at City Hall, then heading west on Lakelse Avenue before turning right onto Emerson Street, continuing a different part of Lazelle Avenue, shifting left onto Kalum Street back and then finally stopping at the Terrace Curling Rink.
As per usual, the parade seemed to draw quite the sizeable crowd and the Riverboat Days Society thanked everyone who took part in it, calling it a fantastic celebration while also announcing the parade prize winners on their Facebook Page.
The Festival is set to conclude on this coming Sunday.
