Several Northwestern BC Communities experience record cold temperatures

In a rather unexpected turn for Summer, several Northwestern BC Communities ended up setting cold weather records this past Sunday, according to Environment Canada.

The likes of Burns Lake, Smithers, Bella Bella and Terrace all experienced their coldest ever May 31st on record.

Smithers saw their temperature drop as low as minus 2.1 degrees Celsius, Terrace’s went down to 1.1, Bella Bella was at 1.9 and Burns Lake was the coolest at minus 5.1.
