The Skeena Diversity Society is currently in the midst of running a lengthy event that they call Welcome Week.
They described this week as a one that would be filled with food, stories, history, creativity and opportunities to connect with neighbours.
They also said that this year’s theme for the event would be called The Courage to Connect, which they are doing in order to make sure that Terrace is as welcoming a community as possible.
The Greater Terrace Local Immigration Partnership is helping on this event and it’s various activities as well, which will last until September 19th.
