This upcoming Saturday is set to see the Skeena Valley Farmer’s Market in Terrace open up for the first time this year and the excitement to begin another season is quite present for the people in charge of putting it all together.
Part of that excitement also stems from the fact that a vendor who initially debuted last year is set to become a regular fixture at this year’s marketplace and that vendor is a landscaping and garden company known as Skeena Greens, who will be selling items plant starts, new herb growing kits and microgreens
And since this Saturday will be the first edition of the Farmer’s Market in 2025, it is going to be kicked off in grand fashion with an opening ceremony that will include a welcoming from an Indigenous elder, some comments from Terrace Mayor Sean Bujtas and a performance from the Terrace Pipe and Drum Band.
The Market is set to run every Saturday up until the last Saturday of October and the timeframe that it will be open on those weekends is from 9 AM until 1 PM.
