It was recently announced that the Smithers Regional Airport would be getting rid of various surplus and obsolete airport equipment, materials and parts via an auction.
An open house to look at the items was held earlier today and bidding would start today as well and last until Friday.
The notifications for the winning bids for the available items like vehicles, lighting fixtures, motors, security cameras, steel beams and furniture will be sent out on June 8th.
And the windows to pick up the items for the winners will be from June 8th to 12th and June 15th to 19th.
