The Town of Smithers gave an update to the public on a change in some signage located on Mountainview Drive across from Walnut Park Elementary School.
The signage indicates that the side of the road it’s on is not allowing anyone to stop on that side of the road.
The change was made in order to make sure everyone gets to School in a safe manner by reducing the amount of students crossing Mountainview Drive while traffic near the School is busy.
