Similar to what the Thornhill Fire Department did with their Parade of Lights, the Town of Smithers will be lighting up the night this coming weekend.
The Town is set to host their Christmas Truck Parade this Saturday at 7 PM, and it will see brightly lit trucks roll through the downtown area, starting at Railway Avenue before it’s grand finale at Main Street.
This event is still relatively new, as it was created during the COVID Pandemic as a way to gather the community together in order to celebrate Christmas.
It’s been suggested to attendees that they dress warm and more details, like the route map, are available on the Tourism Smithers website.
