In two weeks from now, Engage Sport North & Sport BC are set to come together to host an event in the Town of Smithers.
The Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge’s conference room will be the site of the Northwest Sport Heroes Celebration on April 23rd from 6 to 8 PM, and is meant to celebrate people that have dedicated themselves to community level amateur sports.
The awards are not limited to just coaches or other mentors, but extend to cover volunteers, officials and anyone else who makes sport possible in Northwestern BC.
