The Smithers RCMP have posted a notice noting that they are trying to find a wanted man.
24 year old Daniel Piel from Telkwa is believed to be somewhere in the Smithers area and is wanted on an outstanding warrant for charges of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, improper storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and unlawfully discharging a firearm.
Piel has been described as a 5 foot 10, 150 pound Caucasian male with blonde hair and green eyes.
Anyone who has information on Piel’s location is asked to call the Smithers RCMP at 250-847-3233.
