The Town of Smithers recently announced that they have been selected to host the 35th annual Minerals North Conference and Trade Show in May of next year.
This is one of the largest northern mining conferences in Western Canada and Smithers Mayor Gladys Atrill stated that the Town is looking forward to showcasing everything that the Town and region have to offer.
President of the Minerals North Conference Association, Cindy Shelford, said in her own statement that Smithers has served as host 5 times previously and that they delivered each time before hand.
