Next weekend is going to see a concert be held in the City of Terrace with the intention of showing support for a beloved local radio personality.
Steve Little, the morning show host for Vista Radio’s Summit and Coast FM stations, has been dealing with serious kidney problems for several months now, so various friends of his have come together to organize a benefit concert that will take place on February 28th at the Terrace Legion.
It’s set to start at 8 PM and last until midnight with tickets costing $25 in advance and $30 at the door and all the money the event makes will help cover Steve’s medical costs.
The event’s main organizer, Tony DeMelo, explained what acts will be playing at the concert as well as going deeper into why the event is being put on;
“What we’ve done is put together three bands. There’s the Sunday Drivers, Beam Station Road and SlyFire, all of whom have members that are friends with Steve. So we put that together and then we’re going to have a jam session. Kyle Gray, one of his good friends is hosting that. We’re putting this event on because Steve hasn’t worked since November and he’s been faced with some real challenges health wise. Steve’s always given back to the community in so many ways. We just felt that this would be a good way to help him out.”
