The Terrace Community Forest recently presented their financial contribution to the City of Terrace that they give to them every year.
And this year, the amount they presented was $1 Million, which was generated by the TCF’s 2024 commercial thinning forest harvesting program.
The City is set to put this money towards local outdoor recreation alongside several art projects, as had been done before with projects like the new Pickleball Courts, the benches on Ferry Island and the incoming mural and sculpture coming to Skeenaview Point.
