Today at 2:31 PM, a brief power outage affected Terrace.
For a few minutes the lights went out and soon after around 2:37 the power came back.
In a statement from BC Hydro, the Terrace and Kalum substations located in Terrace Lost Power.
“The Kalum substation was able to be restored through remotely controlled switching, but this was not the case for the Terrace substation. We currently have approximately 4,800 customers in Terrace without power. Crews are investigating the cause at this time. We’re working to get the remaining customers restored as soon as possible and we’ll update our website with more information as soon as it’s available”.
