The City of Terrace’s Public Works Manger, Ann Maher, recently provided CFTK-TV with a statement that addressed the recent and sudden massive snowfall.
The statement mentioned that the City’s snow crews have been at full capacity, both day and night in their attempt to improve conditions.
The crews are said to be following a priority based plan that focuses on clearing routes in hospitals and school zones, then downtown, arterial roads, residential streets, and finally cul-de-sacs.
The statement last mentioned that some areas are even dealing with localized following and residents are being advised to drive slowly and take their time when travelling to their destination.
