The Terrace RCMP are currently on scene and have blocked off the intersection that connects Pine Avenue and Empire Street for the past 36 hours.
The 56-year-old man who was reported missing on February 22, 2026 has been located deceased.
While the investigation into the death is in the early stages, it is being treated as suspicious.
The BC RCMP Major Crime Section has taken conduct of the investigation and will be looking to establish the circumstances leading to the person’s death.

Police have taped off the residence of 3721 Pine Street and surrounding adjacent green space.
