The Terrace RCMP reportedly responded to 329 calls during the first week of August and in their newest weekly report, they highlighted the most notable ones.
Two of the highlighted cases involved violations from people riding e-scooters.
The first one saw a man get pulled over on the 4900 block of Highway 16 for not wearing a helmet, but Police discovered a large knife and drug paraphernalia in his possession as well.
As for the other case, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a pair of youths riding e-scooters on the road by Highway 16 and Greig Avenue.
The youths were informed of the dangers of riding on the roadways and the Terrace RCMP are also encouraging parents to become familiar with e-scooter road rules so they can help educate kids as well.
