After a bit of a break to start the month of March, the Central Interior Hockey League returned to action this weekend with a pair of games on Saturday.

One of those games saw the Terrace River Kings take to the ice in Hazelton to take on the Wolverines.

The River Kings ended up taking the game by a score of 4 to 1, which saw Terrace get on the scoreboard only a 1:30 into the game and ride that early edge until they pulled away in the 3rd period.

As for the other game, the Quesnel Kangaroos hosted the Smithers Steelheads and proceeded to batter them by a score of 9 to 3.
