Monday’s Terrace City Council meeting marked the end of an era as a set of councillors partook in their last meeting before the next set of councillors took over their seats.
The outgoing councillors included Inder Dhillon and Sarah Zimmerman, who both served for 4 years, Dave Gordon, who served for 5 years and Brian Downie, who was on council for a total of 21 years.
Next Monday will see the new councillors sworn in, and the list of them consists of Joe Lavoie, Jesse Olinyk, Keenan Stella and Nikki Villeneuve.
Returning councillors Chris Apps and James Cordeiro as well as returning Mayor Sean Bujtas, will be sworn in too.
