The Town of Smithers recently announced that their annual Spruce Up Program has made it’s return.
This program will allow local businesses that are located in the Downtown Commercial area and are seeking to renovate, restore or redesign their storefronts or commercial building facades to have financial assistance.
Businesses can potentially receive grants that cover up to 50 percent of their project’s cost, although $5,000 is the maximum amount that can be given out.
All applications must be made by June 1st and more details about the program are on the Town’s website.
