Next Tuesday April 14th, the Town of Smithers is set to hold a Public Hearing at their Town Hall’s Council Chambers, starting at 6:30 PM.
The main purpose of the hearing is to consider Matraea Trading Limited’s recent submission of a Patron Participation Entertainment Application.
If it’s approved, this would allow Matrea to have live music play at their Wildfire Restaurant and let patrons dance if they so desire.
But the restaurant would still primarily operate as a family restaurant, with that entertainment being offered on a limited basis, typically on Friday and Saturday evenings.
