The Town of Smithers has publicized a statement that let it be known what would be happening to the Runway Café & Bar that is located at the Smithers Regional Airport.
Smithers plans on giving the lands that the Café resides on to a woman named Katie Forsyth by creating a lease that will last for a little under 2 years.
Forsyth will be the one facilitating the Café‘s operations until the lease officially expires on March 14th 2027.
The Town also made it clear that they will not be accepting any offers related to the Café‘s ownership, at least for the time being.
