The Town of Smithers announced that another bit of construction work they’re doing is now underway.
This time, the work is being done near Rosenthal Road and is being called the Bulkley River Erosion Protection project.
The reason for this project is so the area is protected from erosion by installing about 230 metres of riprap revetment along the riverbank.
The construction could continue on until around March 31st.
