The Tŝilhqot’in First Nation has just launched their very own radio app that will make it possible for their listeners to access Tŝilhqot’in Radio’s content at any time and in the Tŝilhqot’in language.
A pair of the Tŝilhqot’in National Government’s Tribal Chiefs expressed that they were excited for the launch of the app and believe it’s existence would help their people continue to speak their language while also passing down cultural teachings to the next generation.
Tŝilhqot’in Radio began back in 2017 and can be listened to at 104.5FM in all six Tŝilhqot’in communities and it’s also available to stream online at tsilhqotinradio.ca/live.
