The Town of Smithers posted a statement saying that some work would be done today on the local skate park.
The Smithers Skate Park Society and it’s partners, namely Westwind Enterprises Ltd., worked on laying down Sod throughout this Friday and they had some directions for the public to follow due to this work.
Not only were residents needing to stay away while the work was ongoing, but everyone needs to keep off of the sod while it takes root and people are being asked to not use the skate park while it’s wet.
