PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. -- Houston RCMP is investigating after it received reports that over 19 memorial plaques were removed from benches throughout Steelhead Park.
Police say the cost to replace all of the plaques will be over $10,000.
"It is not known when these were taken but we hope someone can provided the information that helps us solve this crime," said Cst Ash Schaning in a news release.
Anyone with information about this offence is asked to contact Houston RCMP or Crimestoppers.
