Snowfall Warning in effect for:

Bulkley Valley

Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected.

When: Wednesday through Friday midday. Where: Bulkley Valley, Williston, Stuart - Nechako, Prince George, McGregor, Cariboo, Pine Pass, Yellowhead and Yellowhead Highway - Tête Jaune Cache to the Alberta Border.

Remarks: A low pressure system over the Gulf of Alaska will bring snow to parts of the northern and central BC interior beginning this morning and continuing until Friday morning. Period of light snow on Wednesday will transition to more consistent snowfall tonight. Snowfall may be heavy at times on Thursday. The system will move out of the region by Friday midday. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. The Terrace area will also see snow, with 5-10cm expected overnight, and snow continuing throughout the rest of the week, predicting up to 40cm by the weekend.
